Vaughn promoted at FNBC
Carla Vaughn has been promoted to Senior Human Resource Generalist at FNBC according to Steve Braun, Senior Vice President of Human Resources.
Vaughn, who has been with FNBC for more than 20 years, joined the Human Resources department in 2017 as an Administrative Assistant and became Human Resources Generalist in 2020. In her role, she assists in all areas of HR including recruiting, hiring, training and development, employee engagement and compensation and benefits.
“Carla is not only a highly valued member of our HR team, but she is highly respected and trusted by our Community Bankers,” said Braun. “Carla has grown tremendously over the past several years in her role, which has allowed our department to strongly support the bank’s continued expansion. Carla demonstrates FNBC’s core values of integrity, accountability and servant leadership each day, serving as a role model for all our employees and prospective employees.”
Vaughn began her career at FNBC as part of the Bookkeeping team, now known as Deposit Operations. She later became a Consumer Relationship Manager in our Hardy Office before being promoted to Branch Assistant for the Ash Flat and Highland offices. A graduate of Highland High School, she completed the HR Generalist Certificate from the Independent Community Bankers of America in 2019.
She and her husband, Scott, reside in Highland and have two adult sons.
