Hays earns Certified Community Bank Auditor designation

Cathryn Hays, Internal Auditor at FNBC, has earned the Certified Community Bank Auditor (CCBIA) designation from the Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA).

To earn this designation, Hays completed ICBA’s Audit Institute and successfully passed the certification exam. Her training covered essential topics such as auditing fundamentals, audit documentation, auditing assets and liabilities, and bank information systems auditing.

“Cathryn continues to demonstrate her growth as a community banker by earning this important industry designation,” said Rebekah Guiltner, Senior Vice President, Internal Auditor. “She has been a tremendous addition to our team, and I look forward to continuing to watch her grow in her career.”

Hays joined FNBC’s Risk Management department in July 2023, providing additional resources to manage the bank’s Internal Audit program through recent and future growth plans.
