A joint letter from Arvest Bank and FNBC Bank mailed to Arvest Bank customers on Monday, Nov. 1. You can view a copy of this letter here.


On Friday, Oct. 1, 2021, FNBC Bank, headquartered in Ash Flat, Ark., announced it had entered into a definitive purchase agreement with Arvest Bank, headquartered in Fayetteville, Ark., to acquire two separate Arvest Bank offices, pending regulatory approval. The separate offices acquired by FNBC are located at:

  • 1311 Porter Wagoner Blvd in West Plains, MO
  • 111 North Maple Ave. in Mountain Grove, MO

The transaction is anticipated to close in the first quarter of 2022.

Customers of Arvest and FNBC should continue to conduct banking business as usual at their respective branches until the transaction closes and the Arvest branches are integrated into the FNBC banking systems. Customers of the Arvest branches acquired can expect to receive notifications from FNBC in advance of the closing with information regarding the conversion of their accounts.

  • Arvest Bank branches in West Plains & Mountain Grove, MO will close at 2 pm and reopen Monday, February 7
  • Arvest Bank Debit Cards deactivate at 10 pm
  • Arvest Bank Online Banking & Bill Pay disconnect at 8 pm
  • Begin using new FNBC Bank transit routing number to set up drafts, ACH and check order after 5 pm. We recommend you contact all existing companies to ensure your new information is correct.
  • Last day for Remote Deposit Capture customers to submit deposits and Online Wire customers to send wires through Arvest Bank

Monday, February 7, 2022

Will my Arvest branch name change?

Yes. After the transaction closes in early 2022, the two acquired branches will become FNBC Bank branches.

Will my branches remain open?

Yes, both bank branch locations will remain open. FNBC is eager is become a part of the West Plains and Mountain Grove communities and expand its footprint in Southeastern Missouri.

Can I bank at both banks?

Not at this time. Once the transaction closes, Arvest customers will be able to use any FNBC Bank location. For now, customers will continue to bank at the same bank branches they have always used.
