FNBC recently donated $7,500 to the Spring River Paramedic Service to go toward the purchase of additional power load systems for operating trucks. These systems allow patients to be loaded into the ambulance by a lift rather than manually by the responding medics. SRPS currently has one power lift system in operation.

According to Bart Shulz, General Manager of SRPS, the power load systems helps to decrease back injuries for crew members and are quickly becoming an industry standard.

For more information or to contribute to the SRPS, please contact Schulz at 870-994-0790.
