FNBC Bank CEO and President Marty Sellars recently announced the promotion of Matt Rush to Assistant Vice President and Commercial Lender.

Rush joined FNBC as a Commercial Lender in August 2016 and will continue to primarily serve the bank’s Melbourne market.

“Matt has been a tremendous addition to our community banking team,” said Sellars. “As he has grown in his banking career, he has become a trusted partner for many of his clients in Izard County. He is also a strong advocate and leader of the FNBC culture and brand throughout our organization.”

A native of Melbourne, he received a Bachelor of Science in Management and a Master of Business Administration from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro.

He is a member of the Melbourne School Board, Melbourne Lions Club, the Melbourne Industrial Development Committee, and the Ozarka College Foundation Board where he served on the Capital Campaign Steering Committee.

Rush and his wife, Amber, have two daughters, Annie and Emma, and reside in Melbourne.

FNBC Bank, chartered in 1912, is a $480 million-asset community bank headquartered in Ash Flat, Ark. Its Melbourne office holds over $64 million in assets.
