Alex Young promoted to Branch Manager for Sharp County market
FNBC recently announced the promotion of Alex Young to Branch Manager of its Sharp County offices. She replaces Julie Davis in the role after she was promoted to Vice President of Retail Operations.
As Branch Manager, Young will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the four Sharp County offices’ retail delivery methods. In addition, she will be responsible for leading a team of 15 with coaching, mentoring and professional development, and will represent FNBC in Sharp County.
“Alex has had a strong presence in our core market since she joined in FNBC over four years ago,” said Davis. “She has grown as a leader and manager during her time, and I am excited to continue working alongside her as she leads FNBC forward in Sharp County.”
Young joined FNBC in 2018 in its headquarters in Ash Flat as a Consumer Relationship Manager. In 2021, she was promoted to Branch Assistant of the Mammoth Spring office before returning as the interim Branch Manager in Sharp County in early 2022.
FNBC’s four Sharp County offices have over $285 million in assets.
Young holds a Bachelor of Science in Business with a focus in Economics and Finance from Arkansas State University. A Fulton County native, she and her husband, Chris, live in Mammoth Spring with their son.
